For beta-testers
Active testings

Development division of Doctor Web

The primary objective of beta-testing is improved quality of software products released by Doctor Web.

Software available in the Files section is the subject to beta-testing.

Beta-testing allows us to see how software products/components run in diverse software environments using different hardware and to detect bugs that were not found during an internal testing. It also provides user feedback on an upcoming software product/component.

Testing tools include computers and software of beta-testers, the bug-tracker and special sections of the forum.

Please read the information below before you proceed with registration and downloading of software for beta-testing:

  • Doctor Web is not responsible for any consequences that may arise from testing of beta-versions of Dr.Web software.
  • Any documentation on the existing released version of a product (if available) should be studied prior to the installation of a beta version. If there are any recommendations from developers regarding testing of a software product/component it would be a good idea to read them too.
  • The Technical support service of Doctor Web does not support users on beta-versions of software products/components. Beta-testers send all their questions, suggestions and descriptions of bugs found during beta-testing using the bug-tracker. Recommendations on submission of bug-reports can be found here.
