Welcome to Dr.Web Beta Testing area!
The beta-testing program was setup by Doctor Web, Ltd. in order to improve the quality of all
anti-virus products and their components that are subject to release.
We submit all public beta-versions of our products to the
File area of our web site. To access this area you have
to provide your beta-tester login/password that can be easily obtained through
the online registration procedure.
All versions that are submitted to beta-testing have undergone the internal testing and are now
delivered to a large number of people who are interested in revieweing new functionality and
features of Dr.Web products and discovering bugs and errors that had not been found during the internal testing.
Beta-testing should not be considered as getting the software
free of charge for a long term - the license key supplied with beta versions is for the testing period only
wich is usually limited to 2 months.
However, we truly think that our beta testers will enjoy the following benefits of our beta-testing program:
- Being the first to try the newest features of Dr.Web products
- Feeling the pleasure discovering unseen bugs of the new software
- Submitting new features requests to our developers
- Making eventually Dr.Web products better and better!
Please take note of the following rules and basic principles of our beta-testing program:
- Doctor Web, Ltd. is by no means responsible for any damage or losses that may incur as a result of
beta-testing of Dr.Web products and their components/modules
- Any documentation on the existing release version of the product (if exists) should be studied prior
to installing a beta-version
